Information on all approved OTC medicinal products can be obtained by searching the HALMED medicines database . Please select "Over-the-counter (OTC) medicinal products" as the search criterion and confirm by clicking "SEARCH" .
The search results will display all medicinal products with approved OTC status, regardless of their supply status (supply through pharmacies or supply through pharmacies and specialised retail outlets for medicinal products)
Information on the supply status of OTC medicinal products can be obtained by selecting one of the parameters from the drop-down menu under the criterion Distribution (supply through pharmacies or supply through pharmacies and non-pharmacy outlets).
By clicking on the name of a medicinal product, detailed information on the selected product is displayed, including: Active Substance(s), Pharmaceutical Form, Packaging, Manufacturer, Marketing Authorisation Holder, Marketing Authorisation Date, Marketing Authorisation Period of Validity, Classification and Registration Number, Composition of the medicinal product, Distribution status, Method of advertising to the general public, ATC code and Approved product information).
